Personal Experience
Before entering the legal profession, I served for many years as a law enforcement officer, gaining extensive, hands-on experience across multiple facets of policing. During this time, I worked as a patrol officer, served as a detective within the Criminal Investigations Division, supervised the Training Division, and collaborated with a regional Drug Task Force. This diverse background provided me with a unique and practical understanding of police procedures, investigative techniques, and constitutional issues.
Today, I leverage this experience to effectively advocate for clients, with a particular focus on identifying suppression issues and challenging unlawful searches, seizures, and interrogations. My insight into law enforcement practices allows me to develop strategic defenses aimed at protecting clients’ rights and achieving favorable outcomes.
I am deeply committed to guiding individuals through some of the most difficult and uncertain periods of their lives, approaching each case with diligence, compassion, and a steadfast dedication to justice.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family, coaching youth sports, and pursuing outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.
